Lies Women Believe

Lies Women Believe exposes the areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women-lies about God, sin, priorities, marriage and family, emotions, and more. This book, read along with Scripture, then sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness, and abundant life.

Lies Women Believe will be offered at three different times:

Wednesday mornings 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (childcare potentially provided if needed). Led by Marilyn Hintz.

Wednesday afternoons 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Led by Marilyn Hintz.

Wednesday evenings 6:30 p.m. (childcare available) Led by Tracy Tiede and Dawn Hall.

These studies will be held in the DBC conference room beginning on 9/5. The cost is $19 including a book and study guide.

In His Image

By exploring ten characteristics of who God is – holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise-this book helps us understand who God intends for us to be. Through Christ, the perfect reflection of the image of God, we will discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow his will and are conformed to his image.

In His Image will be offered at two different times and locations:

Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the DBC conference room, starting 9/17. Led by Nancy Clark.

Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at a church member’s home (call the church office for details), starting 9/6. Led by Gerry Whinnery.

Cost $10 for a book.

Knowing God by Name

This study focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart will be compelled to worship and praise Him.

Knowing God by Name will be offered at one time and location:

Monday evenings at a church member’s home (call the church office for details), starting 9/10. Led by Wendy Hildreth and Shasta McKee.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday (4/2) we celebrate Jesus Christ, the Messiah’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Two identical services will be held in-person (at 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.) and the 10:45 a.m. service will be streamed.

Good Friday

On Good Friday (4/7) we’ll gather together and remember Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins. A Communion service will be held at DBC from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday

Come and worship as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection from the tomb! Two identical services will be held in-person and streamed on Easter.

Both the 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Worship Service:

Include identical blended worship services with worship being led by a worship team, choir, and expository preaching from the Bible.
Will be streamed online at delawarebible.org, facebook.com/delawarebible, and youtube.com/delawarebiblechurch.
Include Nursery Care (newborns – age 2) as well as age appropriate classes for children age 2 – grade 3.
(Note: No other children’s classes or Delaware Bible Institute Adult Bible Study Classes will meet on Easter Sunday but they will resume the following week.)
