Lies Women Believe

Lies Women Believe exposes the areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women-lies about God, sin, priorities, marriage and family, emotions, and more. This book, read along with Scripture, then sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness, and abundant life.

Lies Women Believe will be offered at three different times:

Wednesday mornings 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (childcare potentially provided if needed). Led by Marilyn Hintz.

Wednesday afternoons 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Led by Marilyn Hintz.

Wednesday evenings 6:30 p.m. (childcare available) Led by Tracy Tiede and Dawn Hall.

These studies will be held in the DBC conference room beginning on 9/5. The cost is $19 including a book and study guide.

In His Image

By exploring ten characteristics of who God is – holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise-this book helps us understand who God intends for us to be. Through Christ, the perfect reflection of the image of God, we will discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow his will and are conformed to his image.

In His Image will be offered at two different times and locations:

Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the DBC conference room, starting 9/17. Led by Nancy Clark.

Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at a church member’s home (call the church office for details), starting 9/6. Led by Gerry Whinnery.

Cost $10 for a book.

Knowing God by Name

This study focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart will be compelled to worship and praise Him.

Knowing God by Name will be offered at one time and location:

Monday evenings at a church member’s home (call the church office for details), starting 9/10. Led by Wendy Hildreth and Shasta McKee.

Missions Conference 2018 – The Word Across the World

Missions Conference is an annual time in our church calendar set aside to keep mission work at the forefront of our church body as we learn and hear updates from DBC supported missionaries as well as others doing missions work in our community and abroad. Most of all, we seek to encourage, serve, and be a blessing to our missionaries as serve the Lord all across the world.

This year’s conference theme is The Word Across the World. Join us as we hear from missionaries seeking to share the Word of God anywhere from just one state away to across the world.

When is Missions Conference?

March 2-4
March 2 (Friday) – Session #1/Conference Introduction begins at 7:00 P.M.(60 min.)

March 3 (Saturday) – Session #2/Brunch – 10:00 A.M. (90 min.) | Session #3 -6:00 P.M. (60 min.)

March 4 (Sunday) – Session #4/Sunday School – 9:15 A.M. (60 min.) Kids age 4-6 grade combined in Kids Rally & Teens-Adults combined in Auditorium

Session #5 – Sunday A.M. Worship – 10:30 A.M. (75 min.) – Kids dismissed to kids rally before sermon

Session #6 -International Carry In Meal -5:00 P.M. Sunday P.M. Worship – 6:00 P.M. (60 min.)

Is Childcare Provided?

Yes! Nursery care will be provided for children from birth – age 3 during each session.

A Kid’s Rally will be held with Bushman Brad (Pastor Brad Harris) for children age 4 – 6 grade during each session as well. Each kid’s rally will be jam packed with songs, fun games, and teaching from God’s Word as we highlight kids doing mission work and sharing the Word of God across the world. Each missionary speaker will also share during one of the rallies and answer any missions related questions the kids have.

Where can I pick up a speaker schedule?

Due to the private nature of some of our missionaries that are joining us who are serving in countries closed to the Gospel we won’t be posting a formal speaker schedule on our website or on social media. However, you can pick up a paper copy of the schedule at any of the sessions.
