Lies Women Believe

Lies Women Believe exposes the areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women-lies about God, sin, priorities, marriage and family, emotions, and more. This book, read along with Scripture, then sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness, and abundant life.

Lies Women Believe will be offered at three different times:

Wednesday mornings 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (childcare potentially provided if needed). Led by Marilyn Hintz.
Wednesday afternoons 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Led by Marilyn Hintz.
Wednesday evenings 6:30 p.m. (childcare available) Led by Tracy Tiede and Dawn Hall.

These studies will be held in the DBC conference room beginning on 9/5. The cost is $19 including a book and study guide.

(Note: This book will also be the focus of the True Woman Conference Live-stream event at DBC on September 27-29.)

In His Image

By exploring ten characteristics of who God is – holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise-this book helps us understand who God intends for us to be. Through Christ, the perfect reflection of the image of God, we will discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow his will and are conformed to his image.

In His Image will be offered at two different times and locations:

Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the DBC conference room, starting 9/17. Led by Nancy Clark.
Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at a church member’s home (call the church office for details), starting 9/6. Led by Gerry Whinnery.

Cost $10 for a book.

Knowing God by Name

This study focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart will be compelled to worship and praise Him.
